BSA A65 Thunderbolt 1968

Restoration project, the previous owner stripped the bike to restore it quite a few years ago, as you can see some things are still in primer and not been repainted. The engine is all complete and looks not to have been touched, maybe it ran ok and the rest was just a cosmetic job. The forks although rusty were brand new with new bushes, new fork oil seal holders, oilseals and caps! The wheels look to have been rebuilt at sometime too, as they are not the original rims, but although solid, have some rust on them now too. The tank is very clean and has some rust spots on it but will probably clean off, the seat although very dusty and dirty, looks to be a new one and never been fitted!

The bike although in bits, doesn't seem to be missing a lot, I can see that there is no sidestand, three of the brackets are missing from the front mudguard, one of the rear spindle nuts and a pair of brake shoes, apart from that and a few nuts and bolts, I think that is pretty much it.

All in all a great restoration project, comes with up to date V5C.
