BSA B31 1954 project

(For Breaking)

Matching engine and frame number from the factory, dispatched to Meredith's in Shrewsbury 16th of December 1954. Recently unearthed in a barn in deepest Shropshire, the frame and swinging arm are in fantastic condition but unfortunately the bottom half of the engine has been in a damp place and is badly corroded. The top half is very good and has not been messed with, gearbox also has some corrosion, but is not as bad and actually turns freely, the cases are also bad on the outside, and the inner, although not that bad, has a chunk out of it. The petrol tank, although dented, is good and solid, as is the oiltank. Overall a good project, or good source of spares, there are no documents at all, information confirmed by BSA OC.
